As part of Exhibitia's strategy to create products to meet exhibition needs, we have designed Horizon, a product that eliminates the catenaries in museums and exhibitions, allowing to obtain data for further analysis.
Horizon was born from the need to eliminate catenaries as security elements in front of the works on display in museums and exhibitions.
The catenary is a passive element that works as a dissuasive barrier and that in most cases does not combine aesthetically with the design of the room.
Horizon makes it possible to eliminate these catenaries and have an active control of the security of the exhibited works.
Its technology detects the presence of people and when the visitor approaches the safety distance, it emits a laser that marks on the floor the line not to pass.
In case the person crosses the preventive line, Horizon will emit an alarm sound and activate the security measures implemented in the museum.
The Horizon system allows for a clean room, without barriers to observe the works, bringing the exhibition content closer to the public while actively maintaining the security of the exhibition.
With its advanced technology, Horizon also makes it possible to gather information on the number of visitors to a given work of art and the length of time they spend there.
Result
Horizon is an active protection element that integrates with the museum's security. It also serves to collect information on public flow, allowing statistics for later analysis.
Thanks to its wall bracket, it can be easily installed in any of the areas to be protected, offering several built-in services in a clean and modern way.
